Happy New Year everyone!

 

A big thanks to all the podcasts, radio shows, and publications that featured King Never throughout 2007.  And of course, a big thank you to everyone who purchased a CD or downloaded a song or two.  I really appreciate all the support and interest in my music.

 

If all goes well, I hope to have a new King Never album out sometime this year.  A couple of the songs are completely finished, while the remainder are nearly complete (as in a little lyric tweak here, a little bass overdub there, etc.). Vocals continue to be a big stumbling block and I'm not really sure what the final direction will be. Will I sing?  Will I not sing?  Time will tell.

 

The album chronicles the life and spiritual journey of a fictional character by the name of Sonya.  I have no idea what the album will be called, but I know what it sounds like! It's definitely a little more rock oriented than my previous efforts, but there are still hints of ambient, prog and new wave thrown in.
